Studio & Production Assistant
Location: London, UK (studio-based)
Position: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Experience: 1–2 years minimum
Start date: ASAP
About MYAT
MYAT is a London-based womenswear label bridging demi-couture craftsmanship with contemporary ready-to-wear. Exploring themes of duality, transformation and identity, the brand combines experimental construction, material manipulation and traditional craftsmanship.
Following two presentations on the London Fashion Week schedule, MYAT is continuing to grow its international wholesale and direct-to-consumer presence.
The Role
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and resourceful Studio & Production Assistant to join our small but growing team.
Working closely with the Creative Director, you'll be involved in many aspects of the brand, from production and sourcing to logistics, wholesale, project management and the day-to-day running of the studio.
This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative and ownership of their work, and is excited to grow alongside an independent fashion label.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Sourcing
Assist with production schedules, timelines and deadlines across seasonal collections and custom orders.
Liaise with factories, suppliers and freelancers to coordinate sampling, production and deliveries.
Source and order fabrics, trims and production materials.
Maintain production records, purchase orders and inventory.
Support quality control and research new suppliers and manufacturers.
Wholesale, E-commerce & Logistics
Coordinate wholesale orders, delivery schedules and retailer communications.
Assist with e-commerce orders, customer enquiries and Shopify updates.
Arrange and track domestic and international shipments, including customs documentation.
Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
Studio Management & Administration
Help keep the studio organised and running smoothly day to day.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, freelancers and interns.
Track invoices, expenses, payments and general administrative records.
Assist with travel bookings, studio supplies and equipment maintenance.
Project Management & Events
Support the planning and coordination of fashion shows, showrooms, collection launches and events.
Keep track of project timelines, tasks and deadlines.
Assist with event logistics, sample movements and other ongoing projects.
Who We're Looking For
1–2 years of relevant experience in fashion production, studio operations or a similar role.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, adaptable and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise deadlines and work independently.
A good understanding of garment construction and fashion production processes.
Confidence using Excel and Google Workspace; experience with Shopify, Framer or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
A positive, collaborative attitude and genuine interest in independent fashion.
What We Offer
An opportunity to be part of a growing independent fashion label, working closely with the founder and gaining experience across both the creative and operational sides of the business.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow with MYAT long-term, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress within the team.
How to Apply
Please send your CV, a short cover letter and earliest available start date to careers@myat.uk, with the subject line Studio & Production Assistant.
